There was a bit of confusion surrounding the stable Android 9 Pie update for HMD Global’s respected Nokia 7 Plus last month, with the air ultimately cleared by Juho Sarvikas’ promise of an official September rollout.

But even though the company’s Chief Product Officer invited beta testers for a “last chance” to help HMD perfect “Android Pie before an official release” way back on August 8, it turns out at least one more experimental build is needed to improve system stability.
