If you're in the market for a so-called "smart display", aka a smart speaker with a screen, there are really only two options to consider right now. But while the Google Home Hub is much more affordable than Amazon's "all-new" Echo Show, the latter has a significantly richer list of features. 

Then again, if you prefer Alexa's skills over the Google Assistant's fast-growing versatility and can't afford to spend north of $200, you may also want to take the first-generation Echo Show into consideration. Originally released back in the summer of 2017, this was effectively discontinued ...
