While Google has all but confirmed the thoroughly leaked Pixel 3a and 3a XL smartphones will finally be made official next week, there's also a (small) chance new Home hardware will see daylight ahead of the search giant's I/O developer conference on May 7 as well. After all, the original Google Home hasn't been refreshed or upgraded since making its commercial debut more than two and a half years ago, with the Home Mini released back in 2017 and also left without a sequel all this time.
